SILICON FREE
Petrolatums (Paraffinum Liquidum, Petrolatum) are refined petroleum-derived substances with film-forming properties that may block proper transpiration and oxygen exchange in both scalp and hair. In our formulations, we chose to replace them with naturally derived, skin-friendly alternatives that offer similar protective benefits, but with fewer risks and greater compatibility for health-conscious users.
ANIMAL ORIGIN INGREDIENTS FREE
We have chosen not to use synthetic dyes, as our treatments are designed to be much gentler—even on the most sensitive skin.
ARGAN OIL
Argan oil is extracted from the seeds of the Argania spinosa tree, which is native to southern Morocco. It is especially valued for its nutritional and cosmetic properties, and is widely known in the cosmetics industry as Moroccan oil. The argan forest, which once covered vast areas of North Africa, now spans around 800,000 hectares in southern Morocco. In 1998, UNESCO declared the argan forest a Biosphere Reserve.
Argan oil provides deep moisturization from within and protective action from the outside. It helps make hair stronger, more hydrated, and shinier. Despite its nourishing power, argan oil is not greasy — it leaves hair feeling clean, smooth, and perfectly polished. This extraordinary oil is rich in nutrients that keep hair healthy and beautifully maintained.
PASSION FRUIT
Passion fruit, also known as maracujà, belongs to the Passifloraceae family. It is native to Brazil and has been introduced to various countries with tropical and subtropical climates. Its skin is thick and robust, becoming wrinkled when ripe, with colours ranging from yellow to deep purple depending on the species. The flesh is abundant, gelatinous, and aromatic, with a sweet-sour flavor and rosy-yellow tones. It contains numerous seeds and strongly resembles pomegranate in appearance.
Passion fruit is composed of 73% water and contains proteins, potassium, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. It is also rich in vitamins C, A, B2, B3, B12, K, and beta-carotene. All of these nutrients provide nourishment and support for healthy hair.
RICE BRAN OIL
Rice bran oil is obtained from the outer covering of the rice grain and has a light golden color, it is appreciated for its emollient, moisturizing and protective power on the hair. Rice bran oil has a natural protective factor to UV rays. Its composition, perfectly balanced in Oleic, Linoleic Palmitic acids and vitamin E, makes a particularly suitable oil for scavenging free radicals and therefore cutaneous aging while stimulating the vital functions of the skin and hair cells.
MONGONGO OIL
The Mongongo tree belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family and is native to Africa, particularly the Kalahari Desert. It can grow up to 15 meters tall and typically has a low-branching form. It thrives on sandy dunes and gravelly soils. The bark is gray and often scaly, while the leaves, covered in fine downy hairs, fall off during the dry season. These leaves are dark green on the upper side and creamy white underneath. In October and November, the tree produces small, pale flowers.
The fruit, resembling a walnut, ripens in May. It is mostly round and about 3.5 cm in diameter, with pale green skin covering a fibrous, hard shell that encases the kernel. The kernel contains between 38% and 60% oil, which has been used since ancient times by rural African communities. The fruit itself was once considered a dietary staple.
Mongongo oil is rich in linoleic acid (30%–54%), a compound synthesized by the human body and essential to cell membrane structure. This oil has emollient, regenerating, and restructuring properties for hair. It contains a unique fatty acid—alpha-eleostearic acid—which polymerizes to form a protective film on the hair, providing curl elasticity. Thanks to its high vitamin E content, Mongongo oil also delivers powerful antioxidant and anti-aging benefits for the hair.
